Dockmate® Positioning System Virtual Anchor
Hold Your Position Effortlessly
In 2024, Dockmate® reached a new milestone with the Dockmate Positioning System (DPS), a major advancement in yacht control.
This system combines the precision of dynamic positioning with Dockmate’s expertise in wireless controls.
The result: your boat automatically maintains its position, both at sea and in the marina, with remarkable stability and precise control.
Two Modes, Total Control
Ocean Mode
The DPS maintains your yacht’s position using only the engines, perfect for the solo captain managing mooring lines or preparing to enter port.
Precision Mode
The DPS works in harmony with engines and thrusters, offering powerful position and heading hold in confined spaces, ensuring peace of mind when it matters most.
Dockmate®'s Commitment
Over the years, we have invested considerable time in research and development to ensure that the Dockmate remote control offers boaters optimal control, especially in delicate situations such as docking or maneuvering in confined spaces.
Our commitment to your serenity at sea is stronger than ever. The DPS is not just an additional feature; it is the concrete expression of this requirement and the promise we make to every captain.
Enter the World of Stress-Free Boating
The Dockmate Positioning System relies on an integrated onboard IMU unit—combining compass, accelerometer, and gyroscope—associated with a DPS receiver installed inside the vessel. The system communicates with Dockmate GNSS antennas positioned on the roof to ensure optimal precision.
The system is designed to be installed on any boat equipped with two engines, provided that the engine and thruster controls are compatible with the Dockmate interface.
Is my boat compatible?
The Dockmate Positioning System (DPS) complements the Dockmate remote control and cannot be installed independently. The DPS integrates with your existing system to enhance its functionalities and further strengthen your control in port and at anchor.
