Designed for boaters, by boaters

Boaters for over 40 years, we are convinced that true performance comes through simplicity—ease of use, clear controls, intuitive handling.

In search of the ideal wireless remote control system, we could not find it on the market. So we decided to design it ourselves. It is this high standard that guides the smooth, obvious ergonomics of our remote controls.

Designing the benchmark for stress-free boat docking control is what drives us every day.

A story of passion and trust

Before becoming Dockmate’s importer for France, I was first and foremost a boater… with the same doubts, the same sometimes tense manoeuvres, the same moments of solitude when docking.

One day, I had this remote control installed on my own boat.
Not to sell it.
Simply because I needed it!

The first manoeuvre was a revelation.

Being able to move around the deck, keep the best visibility, manage my engines and thrusters while staying in control of the situation… without stress.
No more shouting.
No more tension.
Just control.

At that moment, I understood that this system truly changes life on board.

Today, if I represent Dockmate in France, it is first and foremost because I chose it for myself.
I recommend it as a convinced user, even before being a professional.

And that changes everything.

The verdict is clear: Dockmate is the most advanced solution on the market< 1 >

When the brand was looking for a distributor in France, I seized the opportunity with enthusiasm, backed by my expertise in the marine sector and my network of professionals. Today, I am proud to introduce this technology to all boaters who, like me, are looking for greater peace of mind and control on board.

In recent years, the recreational boating market has seen remarkable growth, attracting many new boaters to the sea… and, inevitably, not yet fully experienced…

Recreational boating now appeals to a broader audience, often new to the marine world. Many are discovering the pleasure of being on board, but also the reality of sometimes technical manoeuvres, especially in port.

At the same time, technologies once reserved for superyachts are becoming accessible to recreational boats. Boaters now expect equipment that is more intuitive, more reassuring, and simpler to use.

It is precisely in this evolution that Dockmate comes into its own: offering modern, smart, and reassuring control, to make every manoeuvre smoother and every trip to sea more serene.
